Got this laptop for my daughter for university. Boots up in 20 seconds. Nice mouse pad. Clear screen but other comments ref screen angle needing to be adjusted and reflections are correct. Light weight and well built with nice keyboard. Battery life yet to be proven but is looking good. If you want a 14" screen, light weight laptop with a good battery life, this is the machine for you.

This is a good machine with enough power to do run MS Office and manage photos without any problems. It's extremely quiet and doesn't seem to heat up at all however its only been a month since I've been using it. Its also very portable and quite light compared to my previous laptops.
The only con and is that it does have a very glossy screen which makes it impractical to use in bright light and also it's easy to see all the finger prints on the screen but the cleaning cloth it comes with helps to clear this up.

I bougt this laptop a few days ago but i had to to take it back and get a refund. I previously owned Samsung Q45 which had it about 3 years before its retired on me. But Acer was no where near that despite intels i3 and windows 7. player didnt play properly there was a quick jumps while watching also graphics were not like HD to me. It might be ok for some but after samsung I decided to go back to a samsung Q330.
Also Acers charging pin slots are so fragile it might break easy watch out for that.
